   Welcome to South Aston

Forthcoming changes to this website - please see the note at the bottom of this page.

South Aston United Reformed has occupied this site since October 1973. Prior to that we were located less that a quarter of a mile away on what is now the Victoria Road interchange of the M38 (see the 'About Us' page). We are a relatively small but very active community of people trying hard to follow the Christian faith in the challenging environment of South Aston. There are few hours or days in any week when people from all walks of South Aston life and often well beyond, cannot be found either at worship in the sanctuary or at work or leisure in one of the two assembly halls or class rooms (see the 'About Us' page for details of some of the activities). The facilities are used by both multi ethnic and multi faith groups; truly serving the local community.
In may 2011 our minister, Rev. Peter Little, was appointed to the joint pastorate of South Aston U.R.C.and Wilton Road (Handsworth) URC.
You are assured of a warm welcome at either of these two churches.

Note: -
This website currently uses a Microsoft 'Office Live' platform. At the end of March Microsoft will be replacing this particular facility with another one. The new service does not suit our purposes so I am developing an alternate one using a 'Weebly' platform. The new website, which, inevitably, will have a different appearance and layout, will be introduced very shortly.
